How fortunate I have been to have had a dream and followed it, resulting in a career spanning three decades performing with world class Opera Companies and Symphonies!
This life...this somewhat crazy life...has shaped me into the person and vocal artist that I am today and I am forever grateful.
From my leading roles in Opera, Operetta and Broadway to the World Premiere of "Alice" with San Diego's Art of Élan and Strings Music Festival in Steamboat Springs, Colorado -- my love for Opera, music and performing arts grows increasingly each day.
I continue to teach voice lessons in Coronado and San Diego and sing in La Divina -- a group of four gloriously versatile soprano's performing exclusively for corporate and private events nationally.
"...without a worthy Widow this production would not shine. In Diane Alexander, the company has found a true singer-actress who more than lives up to her billing. She lights up the stage with her effervescent personality and gorgeous singing." ~ The Columbus Dispatch
"The heart of the show was soprano Diane Alexander, who gave a brilliant interpretation of the lovely courtesan Violetta. Alexander is highly gifted both in acting and singing. Her voice, in its pureness of quality, flexibility of expression and depth of emotion, stirred pathos and compassion....her haunting rendition of "Addio del Passato" was a fragrant finale of her superb performance." ~ San Francisco Peninsula Times Tribune
